3/8" Plywood roof deck: After the old roof is torn off, we cover the entire roofing area with 3/8"  plywood. We are now ready to start roofing! (Not done on all roofs, please check your proposal).

30# Felt for eaves protection: This heavy duty tar paper (30lbs/100 square feet) is placed along the gutter edge. It is there to protect your eaves from ice and water buildup. We will also put 30# felt in the roof valleys (if you have valleys).

15# Felt over entire roof deck: We will cover the rest of the roof with 15# felt paper (15lbs/100 square feet) for even more protection.

Brown metal valleys: Our metal valleys are 24" wide and made from 28 gauge metal which come prepainted with a brown baked enamel finish that won't rust!

Brown metal flashing: All our flashings are made from the same heavy gauge, prepainted metal as our valleys. Base flashings around brick chimneys get replaced and our installers check any other flashings on the roof for potential problems. If they spot a potential flashing problem, it is fixed on the spot (no added charge!)

Attic vents: These vents let air circulate into your attic space or between the rafters to remove moisture and heat. They are made from a high impact, soft plastic which is resistant to heat, cold and UV rays. These vents are extremely rugged and will outlast metal vents and most roofing materials. We will also match the colors to your new roof!

Plumbing stacks: A flashing which allows breather pipes for your plumbing to pass through the roof. From the ground they appear to be a pipe sticking up through the roof.

Built-in gutters: We replace three major components:

1. The gutter liner (a 24" wide epdm rubber membrane).
2. 2" copper drains (allow water from the gutter to pass through the soffit to the down pipes).
3. Facia board metal cap flashing (adds the finishing touch!)

Other: Gooseneck vents: A special vent on the roof for your range hood above your stove.
